UpSurfDown Double Wave 12

The system

How it works.

One lift, two waves, back to the start — and the ramp modules that decide how the face rides.

The circuit

One lift, two waves, back to the start.

Follow a litre of water around the loop. It is raised exactly once — everything after that is height being spent.

The ramp

The wave is a specification, not a casting.

The ramp is not poured concrete. It is an assembly of glass-fibre reinforced hollow elements, ballasted with water from the pool itself. Change the modules and you change the wave.

Isometric drawing of the modular ramp: a curved hollow element 8.6 by 12.0 metres with a 1.5 metre crest, dimensioned.

Because the modules are hollow and filled on site, they arrive light and sit heavy. A different wave later is a swap, not a demolition — the same basin can run a forgiving learner face in the morning and a steep performance wall in the afternoon.

Derived from the Palma drawing set on the basis of 2.0 m of rideable width per module and an 8.6 m module depth; the built configuration is six modules per wave. Indicative geometry for early feasibility only — not a quotation, and no substitute for a hydraulic study.
